When everyone asks where the money will come from to record music one of the odd answers is that brands will begin to bond with artists to give them funds to record. Here we have another example of that in which Converse is opening a Brooklyn-based studio to capitalize on the "cool" of the neighborhood. At the same time it is a great opportunity to record on the cheap at a great studio.
